Engineered stone is manmade and consists of a mixture of minerals, metals and resins.
The two major ingredients are the “Filler” (natural mineral and coloured glass, metal and oyster shells) and the “Binder” (a resin) these are mixed and cast cured to produce stone slabs.
The manufacturing process of engineered stone ensures uniformity of colour, finish, with no veins, cracks or pores. It's available in a honed or high gloss finish, slab or tile format and is produced in a variety of colours.
